In the past, I've done five years in community radio, co-founded an art gallery in Florida (it’s still there), served as a photographer for a kitchen supplies company, managed installations for a California-based ISP, spent a lot of time writing professionally—blogging for Creative Market, Tuts+, HeyDesign, Savage Univeral, and PSD2HTML, among others—and saved a baby from a pool.  That has nothing to do with my professional experience, it’s just nice to know.

These days, in addition to the requisite day jobs, I do drawing livestreams, teach the occasional art class, and work on as many personal projects as possible.  I just finished my first novel and a full-length graphic novel script, and will get started illustrating both soon. I’m also in the beginning stages of a massive writing project I’m very excited about, but can’t elaborate on quite yet.  And there’s always my long-running but seldom-updated blog about making comics.

I like mechanical pencils and em dashes.  I spend too much time listening to Spotify.  I live and work in South Philly.
